We were delighted to be invited back to St Catherine’s Girls School in Bramley to create this beautiful staff car park. Our involvement with this contract, our third scheme for the school, started in November 2017 with providing information and assistance to the Contract Administrator to enable Planning Consent to be granted. This took far longer than anybody would have imagined but approval for a “No Dig” construction was granted in March this year and construction commenced on 1st April. Substantial Completion was achieved 21st June 2019. The final value is expected to be in the region of £250,000. Thanks to Steve and his very able team for a job well done.
The right steps!
The London Borough of Southwark commissioned us to provide safer access in wet and icy conditions to the block of flats at the top of Dawsons Hill in Dulwich. The work was undertaken in April and May along with resurfacing of footpaths in Dawsons Hill Park. Congratulations to Craig, Graham and Tony for a sterling job.
BRIAR HILL – PURLEY
We recently completed a £103,000 project for Briar Hill Residents association in Purley to remove the existing road edgings, install a new kerb line and resurface the entire road, including all works connected to crossovers to private driveways. Excellent job by Martin and the team!
Ahead of the game!
Well done to our team at Lion Mead, Haslemere, who recently constructed 7 new car parking spaces on behalf of Waverley Borough Council, ahead of time. We were contracted to complete the work within 5 weeks, but we did it in 4. This could have been reduced to three if the weather had been better. Particular credit must go to our excavation guys, Tim and Phil, who had the tricky task of carefully negotiating, without incident, numerous underground services such as high and low voltage electricity, gas, water and cable TV.
Firm foundations!
Hobart Paving were appointed by Inspire Contract Services Ltd to construct the foundations for this new escape staircase which was carried out successfully by Fillipo and Tony during the Easter Holidays 2019. Reinstatement of the surfacing was completed a few days after this photo was taken.
